Distribution of the Mezenc Marmots

 Alpine marmots (Marmota marmota) were introduced between 1980 and 1990 into the periphery of the Mezenc Mount, starting from the site of Gandoulet.
These animals acclimatized well themselves and are 86 family groups, distributed today on 22 communes.
